WOMEN IN SPACE LAW is a global initiative launched by theSpace Court Foundation Inc. in 2024 to highlight the voices of women shaping space law, policy, and practice. Our aim is to amplify expertise, share real experiences, and create a clearer path for the next generation of professionals in this field.
For decades, women have faced barriers in accessing opportunities, gaining visibility, and finding mentors in space law and policy. This initiative seeks to change that. Through candid conversations, we share stories of career journeys, lessons learned, and the realities, both rewarding and challenging, of building a career in this domain.
The project brings together a podcast, blog, and regular column in the Space Court Foundation’s Student Space Law Journal. Each element is designed to demystify how to enter the field, where opportunities exist, and how to thrive once you’re there.
This is more than just a platform; it’s a community. If you study or work in space law and policy, this is a place to learn from others, contribute your perspective, and help shape the future of a field that will only grow in importance as humanity expands its presence in space.
